Express yourself through an array of instant opportunities to create art in four different mediums: painting on a life-sized mural, glazing and firing raku pottery, adding to a mosaic wall, and painting open-air, postcard-sized landscapes. All materials for each medium are provided. View Fred Smith’s 237 concrete and glass sculptures, the Keepsake Quilting Challenge winning quilts, and art work from member of the Helping Hands Quilt Club. Then take time to drive the 21 miles of the Price County Fall Festival Tour featuring two additional hometown events on the same day. Excellent food, music, and great company abound in Price County.
The Celebration of Arts in Action at Wisconsin Concrete Park is a Wandering Wisconsin Roadside Art Experience and one of five special events at art environments statewide hosting art-making activities and entertainment in August and September.
