Heritage Days – Get Hooked on History

A look into the past in Price County and all that makes us who we are. Enjoy interactive history stations for the kids,
tools and skills used by early European settlements in the area, an authentic Fur Trade Era re-enactor’s camp,
ethnic food booths by area churches, stage performances with five (5) hours of continuous traditional music,
singers, musical instrument makers, storytellers, blacksmith shop, demonstrations of old-time methods of food preservation, heritage food production, and ethnic food traditions. Celebrate our northern Wisconsin heritage!
A great event for the whole family. Admission is $5.00 per vehicle.

Creating with Colorful Shards Workshop

Whether you’d like to trim a picture frame or mirror with colored mosaic pieces, or make a stained glass window decoration or tree ornament, this workshop provides the tools, guidance and materials you’ll need. You bring the base to decorate, any old china you’d like to break apart, & your imagination. Jeanne Leland, long-time artist using colored shards (pieces) of all kinds, can get you started & keep you going on any project. Make holiday presents from the heart. Free and open to all ages; children under age 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Number of participants is limited. Registration and a $5.00 fee required.
